Canadians will honor those who have worked in this country and paid into our systems and have entered retirement. They must be paid what was promised and if lacking due to incompetent management or increases in costs of living due to mismanagement of our economy, we as Canadians will ensure our debts to older generations are paid.

We will protect and strengthen the Canada Pension Plan and Old Age Security to ensure all retirees receive the benefits they have earned through a lifetime of contributions.

Healthcare for seniors must be a priority. We will ensure adequate funding for long-term care facilities, home care services, and prescription drug coverage for those who have built this nation.

We will review pension regulations to ensure employers cannot reduce or eliminate promised pension benefits. Companies that fail to meet their pension obligations will face strict penalties.
