The last century saw changes in the international community in decolonizing Africa, Asia and the general agreement in the illegality of Colonial occupation and treaties. Canada must not blindly ignore these changes.
We will honor Canada's obligations to Native peoples under both domestic and international law. The ending of colonial land treaties, long nullified by the international community. Land title, legal representation in government, and honestly dealing with our obligations to Native peoples.
We will ensure indigenous inclusion in government, decision making, and ownership of their homeland and fair equitable interests in the development of their resources is the only viable process to ensure Canada is a country based on Laws and inclusion.
The continued neglect of domestic and international law -- through breaches in land title, land usage, resource extraction, treaties, and immigration -- and the failure to meet our own legal commitments will eventually irreparably harm our nation's reputation as one which honors human rights and the law.
