Canadian Citizens must have the right and opportunity to purchase their own home and not be a renter to foreign ownership or real estate investors. It is our government's job to ensure regulation and policies are in line with this requirement.

Past policies have created an unsustainable housing bubble through population growth, housing development, and interest rate decisions. Some of these policies have benefited special interests at the expense of ordinary Canadians. This will end.

Housing prices must be affordable relative to income levels. We will remove any officials found to be corrupt and ensure those in power do their civic duty to benefit Canadians.

Many municipalities continue to raise property taxes and charge excessive fees on utilities. We will bring this into check to end bloated government spending and hidden taxes in the form of utility fees.

We will implement policies to prevent foreign speculation in Canadian real estate markets.

We will work to ensure young Canadian families have the opportunity to own their first home at reasonable prices tied to local income levels.
