National Defence

The world has become a more dangerous place in recent years with many wars in different theaters. Threats to Canada's sovereignty and national interests must be taken seriously.

Canada must increase its fighting personnel to 500,000 strong. They must be equipped with the most modern and up to date equipment procured both internationally and built by Canadian businesses.

This includes modern aircraft, missile defence systems, land based vehicles, ice breakers, coast guard vessels and an upgrade to our Canadian bases and living quarters.

We will significantly increase national defence spending to make up for years of neglect. This will have immediate effects on the growth of our manufacturing and construction sectors, providing high-paying jobs for skilled Canadian workers.

We will have a competent leader able to make sound decisions when putting our young men and women into combat situations. Only making decisions based on National defence and the best interests of our country, not making decisions based on politics or promoting or becoming involved in a propaganda led war for the benefit of others.

We will value our veterans and our young fighting men and women in our military.

Canadian citizens are currently required by law to join our military and defend this nation in the event of war and a draft. As part of the rolling visa program, foreign workers will become eligible for the draft and will be required to join the military in the event of war.

Properly trained and vetted Canadians will be able to own personal firearms. Canadian reservists will be trained by our Military and have the ability to own weapons to ensure our country is well defended.
