Social Issues

1

Sexuality is covered under our Charter of Rights, protecting individuals from discrimination. No group shall force their beliefs or ideologies on others nor receive more rights under the Charter.

2

We do not believe that anyone should be permitted to take any steps toward changing their physical sex until they are 21 years of age. These are life-altering and psychologically dangerous decisions that require full maturity and cannot be made through manipulation or under psychological duress.

3

When a woman becomes pregnant, three people now have rights under our Charter: the mother, the father, and the unborn child.

4

We will move away from abortion through counseling both parents, assisting young parents, and education on the terrible psychological impact of abortion on parents and families.

5

Young mothers and fathers not of legal age still have a requirement to take advice from their parents on these important life decisions.

6

We will raise the legal age for drinking alcohol and vaping to 21 years of age to protect our youth.

7

Psychology and medicine have a long history of confidently labeling certain traits as disorders, only to later abandon those ideas as cultural mistakes. We will not allow addictive medications to be given to children or adults for conditions that may simply reflect natural human variation.

8

We will not accept legal definitions that attempt to categorize gender or identity in ways that pathologize normal diversity.
